Lake Chelan summers are hot, sunny, and full of fun water activities! We’ve already discussed many of the great activities, but today we’re sliding into one of our favorites: Slidewaters Waterpark Lake Chelan!
About Slidewaters Waterpark Lake Chelan
Slidewaters Waterpark is a Lake Chelan treasure. This iconic waterpark first opened in 1983 and has been helping families make lifelong memories ever since!
Slidewaters’ goal is to create a safe, clean, family-friendly waterpark where people of all ages can come together to have fun! The Slidewaters staff works hard to provide a guest experience above and beyond any other.
Types of rides and slides
Lazy river
Lounge in the lazy river as you float along over 500 feet of water. Then, ease into the zero-depth zone and enjoy the many play features around the entire river!
Thrill slides
If you’re looking for thrills, look no further than Slidewaters! The many thrill slides will keep even the most adventurous guests busy and happy. Race other sliders on Downhill Racer, ride classic slides with thrilling 360 turns and fast drops, and if you’re really up for an adventure: ride Purple Haze, a completely pitch black ride that will carry you over 400 feet!

For the younger guests…
If you’re visiting with young guests and guests under 48″ tall, there’s still many fun activities for them! They can play at the Aqua Zoo, where there are kid-friendly animal-themed slides, a teeter-totter, and other age-appropriate activities.
Citywave
This will be the world’s largest surf wave when it opens! This stationary wave pool will add a whole new dimension to Lake Chelan adventuring! You’ll be able to learn how to surf or train to improve, as well as body surf, boogie board, stand-up paddle board, and river kayak.

If thrilling water slides aren’t your favorite, there’s still plenty for you to do at Slidewaters! Hang out at the hot tub, get food from Slidewaters Grill, lounge in the Tiki Hut with refreshments and cold treats, play volleyball in the sand court, get an air-brush or glitter tattoo, or rent a private pavilion.
